Dream Into Me
Part 1
I felt I was bathing in my own blood.
I could hardly move.
Pain was everywhere, every muscle, every vein, I couldn't even think.
I was dying.
He was killing me.
It was a pool of blood I was lying in, my own blood, still flowing from the deep cuts in my arms, chest, back, legs, everywhere.
I could only look up at the dark, grey sky, and try to ignore the pain, the fear, the unstoppable trembling that tried to run over me.
I failed, there was no one left to save the world.
Sephiroth walked around me, careful not to touch my blood.
'It is over, Cloud' he said in his deep, low voice.
I coughed up blood.
Sephiroth kneeled down on a rock on the edge of the pool and pulled his glove off.
His hand reached for my face and wiped the red liquid off my cheek.
'Poor Cloud'
I closed my eyes, trying to shut him out, keep him away from me.
But I knew I couldn't.
It would be over soon.
'I missed the taste of your blood'
I didn't even want to open my eyes again, I didn't even want to know what he was doing, or planning to do.
What if he would…wouldn't kill me right away?
'You fought well, but this time not good enough. Still, I'm proud of you. Proud of what you reached, you're still so young'
I felt his hand stroke over my forehead, through my hair.
What was he…
I opened my eyes, and saw his face was close to mine.
He grinned.
I was suddenly aware of my body again, and screamed.
It was too much.
I couldn't stand this.
The pain was unbearable.
I felt blood coming up in my throat again, cutting off my scream.
Sephiroth turned my head so I could cough it up more easily.
When my mouth was clear again he turned me back.
'Are you dying, Cloud?' he asked me.
I tried to answer, but I could hardly even breathe, I wanted to tell him no.
He got up and walked around me, a circle, further, then he stopped next to me and picked me up.
I tried to kick him, keep him away from me, make him remove his hand from my back and my legs.
I'd rather drown in my own blood than go with him, wherever we were going.
The blood started to flow again.
I screamed.
And Sephiroth shushed me.
'Get…away' I managed to get out of my mouth.
'You will go with me, Cloud' he whispered softly.
Blood leaked out of my hair on my face.
'Don't worry, you won't die today'
Lucky me…
And he carried me away, my sword was left at the battlefield, I didn't know if he had his with him.
I only know I wasn't able to stay conscious for very long.
'Welcome back' his voice welcomed me.
I closed my eyes again.
I felt something hot against my lower lip.
'Open your mouth' Sephiroth ordered me.
I tried to pull my head away, but failed.
He pulled my jaw down, opening my mouth.
Immediately a hot liquid flowed inside.
Food.
I felt I was hungry, very hungry.
I ate all he gave me, and was even hungry after that.
That's all I knew.
I didn't even know if I was sitting or lying down, if I was healed or still injured.
I was hungry, and he would kill me, soon, there was no way to escape that inevitable end.
It didn't matter if I was sitting or lying down, if I was healed or not, I was weak still, and even if I hadn't been, he had already proven to be stronger.
My life was over.
But then why did he keep me here as a pet?
'What do you want?' I said, my throat and voice were sore, like I hadn't used him in ages.
'I'm trying to keep you alive' Sephiroth answered.
'Why?'
He didn't answer me, but got up and walked away.
I could hear him.
But still had my eyes closed.
I didn't even dare to open them.
'Why are you trying to save me, or whatever you're doing?' I shouted.
He still didn't answer me.
'Eat' He simply ordered.
I didn't want to jump at his command.
But still…I was hungry.
So I allowed him to feed me.
It was the only thing I could do.
Except for starving.
Even though I was still hungry when he was done.
And then he just walked away.
'Where are you going!' I shouted after him.
But he didn't come back, nor did he even reply.
'Sephiroth!' I shouted again.
I didn't even know why, but I felt uncomfortable when I couldn't see what he was doing.
I finally could focus enough to notice my hands were bound behind my back, attached to something I couldn't see.
I tried to pull them loose, but it was in fain.
Fuck you Sephiroth.
And then he returned.
'What do you want from me?' I shouted at him.
He didn't respond.
He kneeled down on the bed I was sitting on, took my chin in his hand and lifted my head up.
One finger.
He placed one finger right under my chin, and stroked down to the base of my neck, over my collar bone.
I shivered.
'Something wrong, Cloud?' he asked.
'Get your hands off of me!'
'Are we getting angry?' Sephiroth's voice was unchanged, normal, in control.
Scaring the crap out of me.
He removed his hand from my neck and got something from one of his pockets.
'What are you doing?' I demanded.
'I'm about to teach you where your place is'
I didn't like that.
Didn't like that at all.
And then suddenly I couldn't see.
Nothing.
I screamed, but it didn't change much.
I wondered if I'd gone blind, just one the spot.
But that seemed impossible.
'Sephiroth!'
I knew shouting his name wasn't going to help me.
But I did it anyway.
'What is it?' he asked.
'What did you do to me?'
'I saved your life'
I didn't have an answer to that
'And you will listen to me' He said, 'You will learn, to obey'
'NO!'
I shouldn't.
Couldn't
And wouldn't.
And then his hand was there.
Making me scream in agony.
Feel like hell itself was rushing through every nerve I had.
And then it stopped as he removed his hand from the old injury his sword had given me, as it had pierced my chest twice now.
I still couldn't breathe normally.
'I told you to listen, Cloud'
'Let me go…' I said, not able to talk louder than a whisper.
'You will stay'
I shook my head.
'Do you want to feel the pain again?'
I repeated my last answer.
'Good, you will learn, soon enough'
I didn't even dare to answer.
Part 1

I shouldn't.

And wouldn't.
And then his hand was there.

And there it is, the first part of Sephy's story a.k.a. Dream Into Me. There'll be 4 parts. The fic's completely finished so no more endless waiting for me to actually finish xD
